"I started fishing as a kid with my sister Denise she took me fishing many times in her Chevy Corvair to small ponds whenever she could. We would fish Mastodon Lake, Fox River, Silver Springs State Park and a few others near Aurora, Illinois for whatever would bite. While I was growing up we went to Phillips, WI. My mother was born and raised there. My uncles and father would take me along Muskie fishing. They would always either put a June Bug Spinner or a Pike Injured Minnow on my line to see if I could catch a musky. I was scared to death of them. They laughed because I would get all rattled when one followed (that is what musky do and they don` t bite half the time they just scare you). Also my brother in law Tim put me on to smallmouth bass fishing in creeks. These three things are what made me the fanatic that I am today.

I have fished the Professional Musky Tournament Trail for 13 years now. I am also press release editor for that organization. I have been in the top ten several times and won a couple of events. In 2011 I finished second in the World Championship against the best fishermen in North America. I also fish the Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail and have won several of these with my partner Victor Fox and others. I also own my own fishing guide service here in Illinois Mainly musky Fishing Guide Service. I am also a 27 year member of Muskies Inc. in Plano, IL. I am president of the local chapter for 5 of the last 6 years there also."
